What is Performance Shooting & Movement?

Professional sports shooters are the fastest and most accurate shooters in the world.

However, what techniques, tactics, and movements from sports competition shooting work well defensively? What won’t work well?

In our Performance Shooting and Movement class, designed for intermediate to advanced shooters, we will help you master your pistol core skills and teach you how to shoot faster and more accurately in life-threatening situations by incorporating practical sports shooting and movement techniques to your arsenal.

This class will OPEN your eyes to what it means to shoot fast while being accurate.

What are the class’s gear requirements?

• Pistol of your choice.
• Outside the waistband holster.
• Gun belt or battle belt.
• At least two magazine pouches.
• At least 3 pistol magazines. (If you are shooting using magazines that fit less than 10 rounds, bring extra magazines in your pocket so you can shoot at least 30 rounds per relay.)
• At least 500 rounds of ammo.
• A speed loader to maximize training time (optional)
• Eye and ear protection
• Sunscreen, hat, and outerwear. We will be in the sun all day. (optional)
• Comfortable shoes. Most of the day we will be on our feet.
• Drinks, food, and snacks.

Can anyone attend the class?

This is an intermediate to advanced class. Students must know how to safely operate and manipulate their pistols. This is NOT a beginner’s class. Please contact us at info@tacticalhyve.com for questions regarding qualifications. Unsafe weapons handling will result in immediate suspension from the class without a refund.

Students must be at least 21 years (or 18+ with the attendance of a legal guardian) and due to the Department of State ITAR regulations, tactical training is only available to US Citizens/Legal Residents.

What is your cancellation policy?

• Full refund: 61 or more days from the class
• Partial refund: Between 31 and 60 days from the class
• No refund: Within 30 days of the class
• Credits are NOT provided for missed classes
